It's only a babaric and uncivilised servant that would see the truth and ties his mouth with
silence, for the truth is among the three things that can never stay long hidden.. It has become
an accepted misconception that truths are always stored or kept in books for africa purposely
to be neglected. This accepted misconception has been wrongly ascribed to Africa thus,
conveying Africans as people who do not value knowledge or the art of reading. Whereas, the
historical developments of Africa were significantly weaved from informal literatures which
include folklores narrations, poems, songs, clapping etc.
Just because Africans were unlucky to have their own language written down in signs and
symbols that are distinct doesn't mean we are uncivilised.
Without any intent to make this write-up lengthy, all I'm driving at, is that we, africans should
embrace reading. We should exhibit passion towards the aesthetic of reading. If, this, we do,
then, our land shall be adorned with the peels of progression and corruption and other
potential iniquities shall be outrageously repelled.
Read and thy knowledge shall grow... Read and relish the fruit in books
